Apricot orchard

Square plantation on grassy land.

Verquières Region, Bouches-du-Rhône, France, late October.

"The family domain was a vineyard. Today, the apricot has become our major product, alongside the cherry and the plum. The change took place around 1970 when the sales of table wine started dropping. We aim for quality, without artificial irrigation, only moderate use of chemicals and harvesting at ripeness. We have no problems selling our produce."
